First thing
you need to do is get coupons!! This I think is the easiest step. Check out the
list below to find out great places for coupons.
Madcoupons.net – She offers a monthly service or
pay as you go. I personally get 10 inserts every week and can order extra’s if
there is a good sale coming up. She ships them right to your house for you in a
priority mail envelope and she gets them in the Mail Saturday so you get it
Tuesday.
Bricks.com – Bricks is a site where you can print
online coupons. They have a lot of the same coupons as coupons.com which is a
great way to get a few extra. You will have to install a coupon printer so the
coupons print up correctly. You can leave the zip code area blank but sometimes
coupons you are looking for are zip code specific
Coupons.com – Coupons.com is another print at home
coupon site. You will need to download the coupon printer so you can
print. Same as Bricks does you can enter
your zip or leave it blank only filling it in for those coupon deals. Some
deals do run out but if you are lucky they will re-do the coupon and you can
grab a few more.
Local couponing sites on Facebook – Check for local swap sites on
Facebook. This is where you can find local deals and trade some of the coupons
you won’t use for some you do. They can also tell you what stores are great
about following the coupon policy and what stores to avoid (unless you are a
brave soul.
Manufactures on Facebook - A lot of manufactures have a facebook
page and on the facebook page they have coupons and giveaways. This is a great
way to get high value coupons. Most of the time they have you like the page to
get the coupon. So if you don’t see the coupon right away make sure you have
liked the page
Walmart.com – Offers coupons that you can use in
the store but that you can also double up with a standard manufactures coupon
for extra savings
Target.com - Offers coupons that you can use in
the store but that you can also double up with a standard manufactures coupon
for extra savings. Target also offers the Target Cartwheel and the Red card.
The Target cartwheel you can use on your phone or print it. It is about 5 slots
where you can add extra savings to use at checkout. It is a percentage off of
said product and it has a product limitation. The Target Red Card is either a
Credit card or Debit card. When using it you can save 5% on every purchase. I
have a Red Debit Card and just put my couponing limit for the month on there.
Ebay.com – There is a bunch of people who clip
coupons and sell the clippings on ebay. This is a great way to get those extras
you need.
Recycling bins at a retirement
community – I know
this sounds weird but I am telling you this is an awesome underutilized
resource. I used to work in a community and noticed that almost every apartment
received the Sunday paper and would throw out the inserts Sunday Night. I would
take the inserts out every Monday morning and would rack up 20 + inserts.
Store websites – Your local Grocery stores will have
coupons in their inserts at times. These can be double with a manufactures
coupon. They also have e-coupons that you can load onto you card and can be
doubled with a manufactures coupons.
Swagbucks – Swagbucks is AMAZING!! This is where
I go to print all my printable. Why you ask? because Swagbucks works on a
points basis. I click the coupons and then print them. When I use one of the
coupons I printed off their site I get 10 swagbucks. When you have accumulated
500 or more swagbucks you can get gift cards. I save mine and then trade them
in for gift cards and use the gift cards for extra’s that I normally would not
get.
Shopathome – Pretty much the same as swagbucks
except for when you use them you get points and once you get enough points you
get a check mailed too you!!
Betty Crocker.com – They offer printable for their
products.
Kelloggs.com – Same as Betty Crocker, you get
printables for their products.
Ibotta – Ibotta is like a rebate program. You buy a product and submit it for a Ibotta rebate. Ibotta gives you a percentage of it back. Win
You can also get ads from the local paper but I have found this to be the most expensive way.
